Plywood Definitions
Plywood:
All-veneer panels consisting of an odd number of cross-laminated layers, each layer consisting of one or more plies.
Oriented Strand Board:
Panels of compressed strand-like particles arranged in layers (usually three to give) oriented at right angles to one another.
Marine Plywood:
Specially designed plywood panel made only with Douglas Fir or Western Larch, solid jointed cores, and highly restrictive limitations on core gaps and face repairs. Ideal for boat hulls and other marine application.
